Laurie Skandalis

Laurie has been a massage therapist since 1991 and has worked in both injury treatment and health maintenance modes. Her style is deep yet gentle, using mostly Swedish techniques with some active participation from clients. She welcomes clients of all ages, sizes and genders.

She senses a strong connection between mind/beliefs and body/function and likes to explore clients’ awareness of that impact and often will ask “what makes it better, what makes it worse?”. Exploring options, recognizing resources, working with what we have, and it’s never too late to have a good outcome, are ideas she embodies.
