Andrea Kent

Licensed Massage Therapist

Andrea graduated from the Brian Utting School of Massage in Seattle in 1998. She then trained extensively in advanced craniosacral work (over 1000 hours), as well as in movement therapies and injury prevention and rehabilitation. Andrea’s bodywork is influenced from her background in classical ballet, competitive sports, and recovery from personal injuries. Her massage style is a blend of craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, neurological techniques, pin and stretch techniques, and self-care basics involving posture, breath, and awareness. When it comes to rebalancing the musculoskeletal system of the body, Andrea practices what she preaches. She has a deep appreciation for what it takes to maintain a healthy foundational baseline, and she becomes a rich resource to her clients wishing to do the same.

Health is a balance of support and ease. Both are skills that can be learned and refined.  My job is to remind you, the client, of skills you already have that can directly enliven your health today and long-term. I believe participating in your health and well-being, both on and off the massage table, is creative, effective, and worthwhile.
